Story Overview:
The dark ages have become corrupted. Heinous creatures have emerged from underground while townsfolk across the land are disappearing. Upon the promise of fortune and riches, mercenaries E’lara and Caddoc take on the daunting task of discovering where the innocent villagers have been taken. Their journey will lead them on a dark and twisted path where they will encounter death, slavery, and sacrifice. Travel deep within the world of Kala Moor…and to the secrets of The Demon’s Forge.
The graphics are amazing, and for such a big game with tons of information feeding through the system it still makes for a amazing visual experience. The movements are fluid and controls are responsive. The options for local and online co-op are greatly appreciated, as many games this generation don’t give the option for two buddies to play next to each other on the couch.
The variety of weapons is great, giving you the option to pick up the weapons of fallen foes. Or you can find enchanted weapons and magical items and weapons the give power ups to the attacks. E’lara is a great for ranged weapon attacks but can do both ranged and Melee as well can Caddoc. We found it best for E’lara to hang back and pick off enemies well the co-op buddy melee fight & kills up close.
A problem we found while playing is the health: you simply don’t have enough. You can only carry one health potion and one mana potion. So when it comes to a big brawl you will most likely die several times before its completion. Other than that small problem the gameplay and replay ability is solid. This feels like a sleeper hit of the summer.
All in all the game is certainly worth a try, but I recommend you have a buddy with you to share the experience. With Bethesda game Hunted The Demon’s Forge we cannot wait to see what they release’s in the future, Bethesda is a game publisher and developer to keep your eye on!

Bethesda is responsible for Daggerfell, Morrowind, Oblivion, Fallout 3, and Fallout: New Vegas. They make legendary RPGs. Hunted didn’t make it a developer to keep an eye on, all that stuff did. And thry’ve also had some unimpressive games (Brink, Wet, this). When a game with Bethesda’s name on it earns a 3.5 either they’ve failed or the reviewer is an idiot. The failure isnt usually their fault, but rather that of the company they worked with.
Ooooooh yea! This is something I need to get, I saw the previews before it hit store shelves and it looks pretty good. That blows about the health though, knowing me I’d die a whole bunch!
