The 3 game for the series. If you had played the first 2 Sniper Ghost Warriors games then like us, you had some high hopes and excitement for this game to get released. Then it was pushed back from it’s original release date of January 25th 2017 and then it was push again and was released on April 25th 2017.

The game should’ve been push again and for longer. It feels un-finished and force to be released. The CGI cut scenes or harsh and not fluid at all. The game has insanely long loading time that is just 7-9 minutes of loading ( CI Games actually put out a press release on this we posted here http://game2gamer.com/sniper-ghost-warrior-3-update/ ). The controls are left like it was also unfinished and frustrating at times.

It was so hard to get into the story with the above problems, but once we did here is what we found. The game revolves around a pair of brothers in the military, on a mission, the older brother is taken and you are left. This of course sets up the whole “revenge story” that you go through the game piecing together who it was that took your brother and how to find him. You also can complete side quests during your play. It is almost an open world, in between missions you can go around the village and find items used for trading goods and rescuing civilians held hostage.

You can use all the trading goods you have to build and unlock new weapons, craft bullets and such. The mission are pretty straight forward, try not to be seen and shoot people. You do have drones that you can fly around to mark enemies and find routes to take to help you complete missions and achieve your goals in these missions. But as said before, the problems of the games makes it far less enjoyable then it should be. For instance, when you are handed an item and you press “X” to take the item, instead of the receiving this item, your screen fades to black, comes back, repositions you and you take the item, then screen fades to black again and you are back at the original starting point. This shows the unfinished game and the frustration a gamer will deal with.

If having to recommend this, I would try to not and wait for the game to drop. Yes, I know you get the season pass for free. But I feel that was done because they now they pushed out an unfinished game with tons of problems. I feel very let down as a fan of this series. Just a sad day for gaming and us fans.

Game 2 Gamer’s Final Score : 2.5 / 5

Looks like delaying a game from it’s original release date sometimes is good even though it is pretty annoying but good review
