Stars Wars games very rarely disappoint and with the Force Unleash II it delivers!

The game is action packed and gives a more of a “movie feel” this time around. With all the action sequences and cut scenes this is what a Stars Wars movie should have been instead of the introduction to Jar Jar.

Continue the galaxy-altering journey of Starkiller, Darth Vader’s fugitive apprentice, that shapes the key events between Star Wars: Episode III and Episode IV.  Unleash the Force with more power and precision through improved controls and new powers, such as the deceptive Mind Trick, which turns enemies against their allies.

Discover the true power of Starkiller with Force Fury, where his attacks and Force powers are exponentially increased. Improved targeting system enhances precision use of Force powers and greater interaction with puzzles and the environment. Take combat to the next level with the ability to wield dual lightsabers and punish enemies with all-new combo attacks.

Experience the most life-like interactions with Pixelux Entertainment’s Digital Molecular Matter (DMM) coupled with euphoria from Natural Motion Ltd and the powerful Havok Physics system. Expanded customization options such as new costumes and power-enhancing lightsaber crystals. Fight through all-new challenge levels designed to test and hone your fighting and Force power skills.

Skillfully manage your combat techniques to defeat a variety of brand-new enemies, which will culminate in epic boss battles. Immerse yourself once again in the story that was honored with awards from the Writer’s Guild of America and the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences. Challenge your friends to a 4-player Force showdown on Wii in chaotic fighting game-style combat.

With new powers and Jedi tricks its easy to get carried away and go through the game in one sitting. And yes, it is possible to go through it within 5 hours (as we did) because of the lack of length this game has, and to us that was a huge down fall for The Force Unleashed II. Star Killer is back (as a clone) and is ready to carry on his life as a Jedi,  with all the new characters and old ones showing up it makes you feel like you’re watching a great story that you just can’t look away from.

The feel of the game and controls are very precise with minimal problems, one of the problems we found while playing was it is to easy for the enemies to knock you off a platform or such and dying. Other than that the game itself is a great buy and very fun to get into.

As a bonus we feel that the DLC content for this game such as the Endor Level for only 80 MSP ($1) is very well worth it! You get a whole new level, new outfits and 200 extra achievement points you ALSO get to kill Han, Chewy and Leia! How great is that!

Game 2 Gamer’s Final Score  4 / 5
