Xbox Game Pass Ultimate news: Cloud gaming launch markets, a look at the game library, accessories and more

This morning, Kareem Choudhry, corporate vice president of Project xCloud at Microsoft, published a blog announcing more details about the cloud gaming experience becoming available with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate in September at no additional cost. Making cloud gaming available with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is part of Xbox’s ongoing initiative to put the player at the center of the experience and remove the barriers from play. Game Pass helps people to discover and play great games together across more devices.

Today’s news, available here, includes:

·       More detail about cloud gaming (beta) being added to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate at no additional cost starting on September 15

·       A list of all 22 launch markets

·       A tease of the 100+ titles that will be available for cloud gaming on September 15, including titles such as “Destiny 2,” “Yakuza Kiwami 2,” “Grounded,” “Destiny 2” and more

·       Work we’re doing in partnership with Samsung, Razer, PowerA, 8BitDo and NACON to provide a great cloud gaming experience. For more details on all-new accessories specifically designed for cloud gaming, check out this dedicated Xbox Wire blog

Players can try their first month of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for $1; in addition to cloud gaming, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate includes access to more than 100 high-quality console and PC titles; exclusive member discounts, deals, and perks; and Xbox Live Gold so gamers can play online with their friends across devices.

Samsung will have more to announce about our work with them tomorrow during Samsung Galaxy Unpacked; check out the stream here starting at 7 a.m. PDT.
