Prima Gears Of Wars Guide Review

Have you ever been wondering through a game, and you maybe get half way through and think to yourself, “there must be an easier way to find these collectibles other than me wondering around in circles wasting time when I can be playing”? Well instead of using the time you have before you have to wake up to go to work and saying, “it’s okay, I’ll get 4 hours of sleep”, why not make it easier on yourself and use a guide.

We drove into the Prima Gears Guide to see what it would be like to play and use a guide this time around. Surprising enough, it was so simple to follow. We were able to easily find ammo, collectibles, weapons on each map, each area. By know what weapon was there we were also able to decide if we wanted to change weapons or just keep the ones we have. This guide also gives the best places for cover or where the enemies spawn, well also each wave so with this knowledge you can easily plan ahead of time, pick your spot and get through the game.

600x-1

You might be asking, “Why do I want to know this?” Well, you might be an achievement hunter, or a completionist and want to go through the game on the hardest difficulty and need that little tips to get through a part you’ve died 20+ times on, or maybe you don’t want to pass up a collectible along the way. So whatever gamer you are, this is a handy tool to get through it. Maybe you are on Act II Chapter 3 and want to know the layout of the map, where some ammo is if your low, A frag grenade for a emergence hole or just a set of COG tags, just flip to that part in the guide and you’re good to go… And guess what?? We haven’t even got to the best part!

The guide comes with an E-guide!!! Convent? Yes! If you want to go through the game in real time and use the guide at the same time, no problem. Just pull it up on your Primagames.com account and you can pull up exactly where you are on the guide and it gives you step by step walk-through, and pictures to help explain what you are facing. And one feature that we loved was instead of loading or looking for the next part of the game, or map you can just push the left or right arrow keys to pull up the next or previous maps and not even lose a beat.

When you get into the multi-player aspect of the guide, you can get the whole lay out of the games, game type, and best strategy. But don’t forget, for Gears, staying together is the strategy to win. But when you find yourself on a team that just decides that going off lone style and losing is their way, you can at least have yourself prepared and at least try to get the XP you need to level up. The guide also give ever bounty card, ever weapon skin, character and ribbons. You can also plan out what bounties you can load up for what mode to help you level up. When you do pick up your copy, you get the physical copy, E-guide, free Gear packs and I set of COG tags as a necklace!

If we choose to go with a guide, well, this would be the guide. We highly recommend this to anyone new or old to the series. It gives you a whole new way to game and makes the reply value that much more!

I am for sure a completionist! The day I get the game finally I will have to pick up a physical copy so I can sport that Cog Necklace!
