We took a shot at Adult Swim’s latest release, Rise & Shine…. The game is a action based side-scroller. The idea and basic controls is a copy of the old Smash T.V. game, where you use the right stick to control the aiming and the right trigger to shoot. It is just a horrible idea. This makes the game more frustrating than enjoyable.
The graphics / cartoon style is awesome, the deaths (you will die so much because the crappy aiming system) is funny, and the story itself is fresh and unique. But man, trying to play through the game and getting so pissed off because the aiming.
If you are planning on picking this up, I suggest to wait and play the demo or if it drops in price for a dollar (Smash TV reference). Terrible game.
