DiRT 3 will boast more cars, more locations, more routes and more events than any other game in the series, including over 50 rally cars representing the very best from five decades of the sport. With more than double the track content of 2009’s hit, DiRT 3 will see players start at the top as a professional driver, with a top-flight career in competitive off-road racing complimented by the opportunity to express themselves in Gymkhana-style showpiece driving events.

As players race to elevate their global standing, DiRT 3 delivers mud, sweat and gears world over: from the intense weather-beaten rally stages of Europe, Africa and the US, to executing performance driving showcases and career challenges where car control is pushed to spectacular limits.

DiRT 3 has amazingly put together graphics, the damage the can be done to the cars is as life-like as can be. The looks of the lighting, shadows and reflections of the sun and off the car make the game itself beautiful to play, the handling of the cars is tricky to get the hang of. The slightest miss turn or over turn can send the car into a spin out or 720 turn. This can then lead to losing the race or make it harder for a comeback win. This in itself can cause frustration enough to restart the race. But thankfully enough the settings and sensitivity can be change, and not just the basics in the options mode this lets you customize your car and control to fit your driving style.

The new feature of directly uploading videos from game play or racing to youtube is awesome! You don’t need to record anything or do anything, you just choose to upload and BAM your golden! A feature that is greatly missed in all games that Codemasters brought back is Split-Screen, you can have a buddy come over and play or race against each other head to head. Sorely missed in other games. Instead of having to link 2 systems together or playing over xbox live (which not everyone has) so now DiRT 3 brought back the good times of playing with a friend.

Xbox live and multiplayer mode is across ALL game modes, this meaning any and all different modes in the game can be played on xbox live. Not only can you play with a buddy you can bring that fun and comfort online and test your skills against other racers around the world to hone your talent and move up the ranks!

DiRT 3 by Codemasters Studios is out now for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PLAYSTATION 3 computer entertainment system and PC Games For Windows LIVE.

The final word is that DiRT 3 is a amazing piece of work, beautiful on the eyes and easy to pick up and jump into the action and move up the ranks to test your skills. The customization is amazing, the graphic alone are pleasing and fun to watch.

Game 2 Gamer’s Final Score 4/5

Hubby ran out and bought this when we picked up Mortal Kombat as well, he’s played on it more than I have but when he challenged me to a race, I whooped his ass! even with the assists turned off. I love racing games, I am able to get my road rage out without even getting a ticket that I have to pay for! Eat my Dirt!!!!
