The latest issue of Dengeki PlayStation reveals three returning characters and two new characters set to appear in Atelier Lydie & Suelle: The Alchemists and the Mysterious Paintings.
Plachta, Fritz Weissberg, and Drossel Weissberg from Atelier Firis: The Alchemist and the Mysterious Journey will return in Atelier Lydie & Suelle, though it was not confirmed if they will participate in battle.
New characters include:
- Alto (voiced by Takuma Nagatsuka) is an androgynous male alchemist of many mysteries. He is cool and sarcastic, and also participates in battle.
- Lusia Voltaire (voiced by Reina Ueda) is the daughter of Melveille’s number one atelier. She is high-handed, but easily feels lonely. She considers herself a schemer, but is usually found out by those around her.
Atelier Lydie & Suelle: The Alchemists and the Mysterious Paintings is due out for PlayStation 4, Switch, and PS Vita in Japan on December 21, and for PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC via Steam in North America and Europe in early 2018.
