Mcfarlane Toys Call Of Duty Black Ops 4 Action Figures Review

When it was announce some time ago that Mcfarlane Toys was tackling and making some Activisons Call Of Duty figures from the new Black Ops and past releases, we knew it would be a great match. A amazing video game series paired with a toy company geared toward collectors and detail, perfect!

Each figure is indivisdly packed in a bubble packaging with a card board backing. The look of the packing is very well done. The figures in the line consist of 4 characters, Cpt. John MacTavish AKA “Soap”, He Zhen-Zhen “Seraph”, Lt. Simon Riley “Ghost” and Donnie Walsh “Ruin”.

Some of those names may sound familur from past COD games, and some from the new upcoming Black Ops 4. Each figure comes with a code to give you 2xp for in game use. The figures also feature a store exclusive, for example, Wal-mart carries a “Soap” figure that is bloody and beat up, while another store features “Ghost” in a different colored get up.

The good:
Each figure features a 14+ points of articulation
Accessory that is from In-game
A 2xp code for game use

The Bad:
Even with 14+ points of articulation you can still barely pose the figure
Comes with a SINGLE accessory

I would say these are great figures, but with a $19.99 price tag and a single accessory it is a little hard to justify buying these. Posing them is nearly impossible and they don’t have much range of movement. The lone accessory is heart breaking, considering these figures are from a game that each character has at least 3 weapons. The detail is amazing, but we think they aren’t worth it. Wait till they hit a sale.
