The Gears Pro Circuit and Halo Championship Series Unite July 13-15

This morning on Xbox Wire, The Coalition and 343 Industries announced the latest on the upcoming Gears Pro Circuit and Halo Championship Series crossover tournament, which will take place at the New Orleans Convention Center in New Orleans, LA from Friday, July 13 to Sunday, July 15 and feature the best players from both franchises competing in simultaneous, standalone tournaments for separate $250,000 prize pools.

The competition kicks of this Friday at 4 p.m. PDT/2 p.m. CDT, streaming live on live.gearsofwar.com, Mixer.com/Halo, Twitch.tv/Halo, Twitter and Facebook.

Spectator tickets are still available online or onsite during the event, and there will be a $5,000 “Halo 5: Guardians” Free-For-All tournament available for anyone on site in New Orleans at no extra cost. Players looking to jump into the action themselves can check out the Gears and Halo sale in the Microsoft Store from July 13-19, offering Gears of War 4 for $19.99, Halo 5: Guardians for $14.99 and a bundle featuring both titles for $34.99.
