Little bit of nostalgia, check. Updated graphics, check, and let’s add some multiplayer for kickers. Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1 & 2 Remasted gives us everything we missed about TH and more! It was such a great surprised to just about all gamers around that we would be getting an updated TH game, but they gave us 2 games in one!

The moment you start the game, you’re taken back to those Playstation original days and it floods back in a rush has fun the game is! With a great soundtrack and some newly added songs it just fits perfectly. Rocking out to some Sublime and skating along to hear some Machine Gun Kelly. This soundtrack is so well thought out and rounded for everyone to enjoy.

The basic premise is still there, do tricks to increase your score and unlock more skate parks. With added goals and old goals give us more to do in each level. TH 1 & 2 is just about everything good from back in the day and everything good from now crammed into a game and boom, its legit! Oh, and we can even customize our skater to be wearing a Covid-19 mask. Fits in with the times, aye?

Tony Hawk 1 & 2 Remastered came at the right time, with the void of skating games and TH 5 was so long ago that must of us forgot about it. And now, we all want TH back into the gaming world and more games to follow! The updated graphics are more than pleasing, but a flaw we noticed was when you fall, its takes away those precious seconds to get back up.

At a SMRP of $39.99 it’s a steal for 2 great remastered games. With plenty of hours and the newly added multiplayer, the fun of TH is just ongoing. We just wished it had good ol’ Bam Margera It’s a great pick up for fans of the series and new comings of the Tony Hawk franchise.

Game 2 Gamer’s Final Score:    4/5

Frustration Level: Mid

Replay Value: High
