Trials Evolution Revs Up For Public Debut

RedLynx (redlynx.com) today revealed that its highly anticipated game Trials Evolutionwill make its public debut at two upcoming trade shows, where it will be playable by both public and press alike.

The first chance to play Trials Evolution before its release will be at the Gamescom videogame exposition in Cologne, Germany during the week of August 15. The following weekend, the game will arrive at the Penny Arcade Expo in Seattle Washington, giving gamers on two continents an opportunity to preview what could be the most ambitious downloadable console title yet.

“Ever since we teased Trials Evolution at E3, gamers have clamored for more information,” said Tero Virtala, CEO of RedLynx. “But until recently, we’ve been quiet and working hard on the game.

“Now at last, we are ready to start showing everyone why this game is called Trials Evolution – why it is more than just a sequel, but is a huge step forward in digital downloads.”

Key features of Trials Evolution

  • Multiplayer – both local and online
  • Challenging but balanced single player game
  • Outdoor environments and curved driving line
  • Full-featured track editor
  • Global track sharing
  • Bike and rider customizations

The special preview builds that will be shown are only a taste of the entire offering yet to come.

“This is the biggest game RedLynx has ever done, and one of the most ambitious downloadable console games ever,” said Antti Ilvessuo, Creative Director of RedLynx. “The things that can be done with just the editor will astound long-time fans of the series. I can’t wait to see what the community will be able to create!”

In addition to presenting Trials Evolution at Gamescom, Creative Director Antti Ilvessuo will also appear at the Xbox VIP Community panel on Wednesday, August 17 at 15:30 in the afternoon.
